At Sew Creative we are passionate about sewing.  Learn to sew with us and see how easy it is to be creative.  Always fun, always Sew Creative.

All our courses, patterns & notes have been developed by us and are unique to Sew Creative.

Our teaching style is relaxed, professional and interactive to ensure the learner achieves maximum benefit and outcome from attending any of our courses.

With the main focus on Beginners, we also offer an extended training programme for those who wish to expand their passion for sewing beyond the basics.

Our team is small, but powerful and full of passion for empowering others with our fabulous life-changing sewing courses.

Heather Tiltmann

Course facilitator at Port Elizabeth – Chelsea training centre

Course facilitator – Beginner & Intermediate Courses / Craft Courses

Heather joined Sew Creative as a student in 2018.  Even though she had a number of years of sewing experience, she enjoyed getting back to basics on the Extended Beginner Course.  Heather became a part of the family with her participation in many of Sew Creative’s craft & other short courses.  Early in 2020, Heather joined our team as a trainee instructor and rejoined in August 2020 after the abrupt halt during lockdown.

Heather is a very kind & patient tutor, guiding our beginners through each step with care and precision.  Our students feel confident under her watchful eye and careful guidance.

Heather also heads up our KATS Club (Kids And Teens Sewing Club).  This is a fabulous way for children to learn how to sew.  Heather’s expert guidance and patient, kind manner allows all children to progress at their own pace.

Siphokazi’s vibrant, happy personality and kind, patient manner is the perfect combination to create happy moments at our centre in Struandale.  Guiding students carefully every step of the way, Siphokazi has proven to be a very kind & patient tutor, with fabulous result.   Our students love Siphokazi’s classes and we are thrilled to have her in our team.
